Background Story:
The Karemma ship was a cargo ship used by Karemma. The Karemma ships are not equipped with offensive weapons of any kind, although the cargo bays are certainly large enough to be fitted with modular weapon systems of some form if required. However, basic commercial considerations have ensured that this design will never be able to compete in the combat arena with the likes of a starship.
The Karemma ship prominently appeared in Space 9, where the Defiant defended it against two Jem’Hadar fighters. But this was the last time the physical model was on screen. After that, we could see a CG model of the vessel a couple more times as ships of other species like: Bajoran impulse ship, Antarian ship, Ship at the Ledosian space port, Visitor ship at Xantoras.
