.V100 Regional Train :

The BR V100 diesel locomotive is a locomotive with a diesel-hydraulic drive. The V100 series was put into service by Deutsche Bahn in the late 1950s and partially replaced the obsolete steam locomotive series, which was replaced by electrified locomotives or diesel vehicles. The BR V 100 diesel locomotive was built from 1963 – 1985 and was mainly used on non-electrified branch lines for freight and passenger service.
The locomotive is designed in 8 studs wide and has a length of 35 studs and a height of 13 studs. The V100 is prepared to be motorized.

Starting in 1951, the Deutsche Bundesbahn purchased new coaches for express service, including the Byl 421 type. In addition to the end entrances, these coaches also had a center entrance with double doors and were already equipped with the rubber bead crossovers at the ends of the coaches that are common today. The maximum speed allowed for these coaches was 140 km/h.
The passenger coaches are designed in 8 wide and have a length of 61 studs an a height of 13 studs.
The whole train has a combined length of 216 studs.
